For my art show, I painted the blue series first. All the colours were to subtly create the LGBTQIA+ flag but for me each colour mostly was to represent each stage of my journey. I painted the blues first because it was the stage that I was in for most of my life. These paintings both show that feeling of desire and longing but also the hesitance and restraint I felt when I was questioning my sexuality.
